What's the problem with clutching in a refueller?

1,   When the refuelling car starts, the clutch cannot be smoothly engaged and chatter occurs. In severe cases, the entire vehicle is shaken and accompanied by collision.

2,   cause of issue

(1)        Clutch cover, friction lining warping deformation can be stained with oil, so that poor clutch contact.

(2)        Clutch diaphragm spring bending deformation, resulting in varying elasticity, resulting in uneven pressure plate, causing trembling.

(3)        Looseness of the fixing bolt or positioning bolt of the clutch cover and the flywheel.

(4)        The free travel of the clutch pedal is too small or the adjustment of the disengagement lever is inconsistent.

(5)        The spline of the clutch disc and the first shaft spline of the transmission are issued due to corrosion.

3,   Diagnosis and exclusion

(1)        Check the technical condition of the clutch pressure plate and the friction lining surface. If the surface of the friction plate has warping, oil stains or exposed rivets, the friction plate should be polished smooth or clean. Replace when serious.

(2)        Check whether the friction plate spring has a bending deformation, if any, should be corrected, and adjust the inner end surface of the diaphragm spring to the same plane.

(3)        If the fixing bolts of the clutch cover and the flywheel are loose, tighten them tightly.

(4)        Check the free travel of the clutch pedal. If there is no free travel, adjust it.

(5)        Check whether the spline of the driven plate and the first spline of the transmission are corroded or dirty. Otherwise, it should be repaired or replaced.
