The Xichai Huishan Base CA6DM assembly line is mainly responsible for the batch final assembly production of the Aowei 11L6DM heavy-duty diesel engine jointly developed by Xichai and FAW Technology Center. It requires a production time of 110 seconds and an annual output of 125,000 units. To this end, Xichai proposed a "high reliability, high flexibility, high efficiency, and high cost performance" equipment design requirements for the line.
In the interior line of the 6DM diesel engine, especially in the position of the main bearing tile, the installation of the oil pan and the crankshaft on the line, the cylinder workpiece weighing 550 to 700 kg must be turned. According to the previous design idea, at least two tilting machines and one lift should be configured. As the general contractor of the 6DM diesel engine assembly line, Tianyong Machinery Electronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. decided to introduce and adopt solutions for the robot system based on repeated analysis and comparison of various solutions. This program has been approved by Xichai.
In view of the reliability and stability of Germany's KUKA robots are very good, highly flexible and large load models, and finally in the 6DM diesel engine's interior line installed five German KUKA robots: back-end surface coating robot KR16, steel coated Plastic robot KR16, flywheel shell on-line robot KR210, cylinder inversion and crankshaft on-line robot KR500, cylinder flip robot KR1000titan.
Now in the 6DM interior line, people can see such a shocking scene: the flywheel shell robot KR210 six-axis robot has a load capacity of 210 kg and an additional load of 50 kg, with a maximum range of 2700 mm, and can fully simulate the manual assembly. The environment and posture adopt the manual shaking mode to quickly and accurately position the flywheel housing on the body, thereby avoiding scratches on the surface of the workpiece.
