First of all, in today's rising fuel costs, compared to diesel engines, LNG engines are of reliable quality, with few failures and low fuel consumption. Compared with diesel vehicles, the fuel consumption is about 30-50%.
Second, it has obvious advantages in terms of emissions. Compared with other diesel vehicles, particulate emissions are almost zero, emissions of NOx, CO, and HC are also significantly reduced, and Euro IV emissions and even higher emission standards can be easily achieved. 90% of carbon dioxide emissions are reduced, and 80% of total emissions are reduced. Third, low temperature resistance. There is no waxing problem of diesel fuel, and no heating of the oil circuit is required. The car has excellent low temperature start-up and is guaranteed to start normally in an extremely cold environment at -40°C.
Fourth, security is good. The ignition temperature of LNG is 650°C, which is much higher than that of diesel fuel at 260°C. The vaporized density of LNG is only about half that of air, and the slight leakage immediately spreads and floats, and the safety is greatly improved.
Fifth, reduce maintenance costs. Due to the full combustion of LNG, there is no heavy hydrocarbon, no carbon deposition, no dilution of lubricants, reduced part wear, reduced maintenance costs, and extended engine life.
