First of all, the technical reference of the product design chooses the outer contour of the rule too much, and the process margin and processing difficulty caused by the rough and fine machining process margin and the machining deformation bring about the size conversion work and the detection difficulty. It is much more convenient to use high-precision holes as a reference (although the center of the hole is not convenient for routine measurement but does not hinder the positioning of the CNC machine); some shapes (rounded corners, inner grooves, bevel angles, etc.) are designed without regard to the specifications of the CNC tool. Interpolation is too laborious and has low precision.

CAO/CA, CAM integration, especially integration with measurement, is difficult. General CAO software can easily generate NC programs from CAO models, but cannot automatically extract process parameters from CA. The measurement machine program generated by the CAO model often needs to use third-party software. Sometimes, the parts processed by the NC machine do not use the measuring machine and use the simulation method such as the sample board to detect the lack of consistency and integrity of the data. The general problem is the lack of process parameter manuals or standards, especially the lack of materials such as alloys, soft magnetic alloys, honeycomb and thin-wall structures, and high-speed iron cutting.

The management level of the CNC department directly affects and restricts the smooth progress of CNC machining and product quality, including the formulation and scheduling of production plans, the management of machine tools, tools, measuring tools, fixtures, workpieces (blank, semi-finished products, finished products), cutting fluids, Process procedures, change management of numerical control programs, management of quality control and inspection records, etc.
