On December 22nd, the good news came from the School of Mechanical Engineering of Yangzhou University. The research team led by Dr. Jiang Ming successfully developed the “new five-axis linkage machine structure†after more than one year of scientific research. The machine tool can realize one-time clamping of workpieces, simultaneous processing of five faces, and many technical indicators such as corner and stiffness have been world-leading.
Multi-axis linkage CNC technology is the most difficult and widely used CNC machine tool technology, and the technology is regarded as a national industrialization level. Under the leadership of Jiang Ming, the research team of Yangzhou University has invented the new five-axis linkage mixing machine structure with a radius of rotation of 400 mm or less in the processing table. This project has applied for two inventions and four utility models. There are six patents in technology, three of which have been authorized. At present, the small prototype has been successfully trial-produced, and it is expected that the working machine will be available next year.
