1. The magnetic float level gauge was calibrated properly. After the floater was used, it was found that the float had a “sucking” phenomenon at a certain position. This is mainly caused by the distance between the liquid level gauge and the steel plate when it is installed through the steel platform. Therefore, installation through the steel platform requires special attention to the spacing between the tube wall of the level gauge and the cut edge of the platform. According to the experience in the field, this distance is about 100mm, which can ensure no impact on the magnetic float.
2. Occasionally, the on-site adjustment will find that the float is not flexible enough to move up and down. This is mostly due to improper installation. At this time, pay attention to whether the center of the upper and lower flanges is on a line and is perpendicular to the horizontal plane. In general, the angle with the horizontal plane is preferably not less than 87 degrees. If the deviation is large, it may affect the smooth movement of the float.
3. If the closed glass tube used for on-site instruction is broken due to transportation or other reasons, the glass tube can be replaced by domestic glass. But it's best to vacuum. Also note whether the glass tube is vertical so as not to affect the indicator's indication.
4. When the magnetic flap level gauge is used for a period of time, it is difficult for the float to float and the float to move is not flexible. This is basically due to the iron float or other dirt on the magnetic float. The medium may be evacuated first, and then the float may be removed to eliminate iron chips or other contaminants on the magnetic float.
5. When the level gauge is put into use on site, special attention should be paid to opening the upper gate valve first and then opening the lower gate valve. This is due to the fact that the bottom of the communicating tube of the magnetic float level gauge is equipped with a thrust spring which protects the float. Otherwise, the effect of large differential pressure may crush the float and render the level gauge unusable.
6. When the level gauge is used, special attention should be paid. Do not use a strong magnet to pull the float on the outside of the connecting pipe to check it. Otherwise, the magnetic float will change its polarity and even weaken the float so that it will be difficult to work normally.
7. During the use of the level gauge, if the output signal produces frequent disturbances or interference pulses, it is necessary to check whether the signal cable shield is grounded reliably. The working connection is whether the resistance can meet the requirements. If the interference is still not completely eliminated, a signal isolator can be used.
8. Use intrinsically safe liquid level timing, especially pay attention to whether the impedance of the level gauge and safety barrier matches. Because this level meter power supply voltage is 14.5-36VDC, which is smaller than the 14.5-45VDC of the general transmitter, it cannot work normally when the load is large.
