· Ford SUV has strong demand in China

According to data released by Ford Motor Co., the company's SUV was hot in the Chinese market last month, helping to stop its four-day losing streak in China and resume its year-on-year growth. In the month, Ford's retail sales in China reached 95,200 units, with a cumulative sales volume of 8.841 million units.

Passenger cars rose commercial vehicles

In October 2015, Ford's retail sales in the Chinese market were 95,185 units, compared with 89,166 units sold in September 2014, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%. In the past few months, foreign brands have been hit in China, and most sales in China have declined year-on-year. Ford has not been exceptional. By October, Ford had finally recovered from a recovery after four consecutive months of decline.

From January to October this year, Ford's cumulative sales in China reached 884,073 units, compared with 887,291 units in the same period last year, a slight decrease of 0.4%.

According to the two categories of passenger cars and commercial vehicles, Ford's growth in China last month was mainly passenger cars.

· Changan Ford's domestic retail sales in October were 74,820 units, compared with 65,285 units in the same period last year, an increase of 14.6% year-on-year, reaching double-digit year-on-year growth. From January to October, its domestic retail sales were 654,919 units, an increase of 1.4% year-on-year based on 646,131 units in the same period in 2014.

· Jiangling Motors' domestic retail sales in October were 19,070 units, compared with 21,503 units in the same period last year, down 11.3% year-on-year. From January to October, its domestic retail sales were 206,360 units, a decrease of 3.0% year-on-year based on 212,835 units in the same period in 2014.

· In terms of imported cars, domestic retail sales in October fell 45.5% year-on-year to 1,295 units, compared with 2,378 units in October last year. Cumulative sales also fell 19.5% from 28,325 units to 22,794 units.

Model sales: SUVs such as Wing Tiger Sharp are hot in China

Sales growth benefited from the outstanding performance of Ford SUV models. Ford's SUV models – Wing Bo, Wing Tiger, Sharp and New Ford Explorers increased sales by 15% in October 2015 compared to October 2014; cumulative sales in the first 10 months Compared with the same period last year, it increased by 7%.

Ford Maverick sales in October increased by 9% compared to October 2014; sales in the first 10 months exceeded 100,000, reaching 109,500 units, an increase of 3% over the same period last year.

For the car, Ford's new Mondeo sales performance is eye-catching, sales in October increased by 6% compared to October 2014.
