Through multiple rounds of screening and comparison, Baoneng Group won the bid.
Qoros Auto Co., Ltd. announced that it will officially usher in a strategic investor, Baoneng Group, which will invest 6.5 billion yuan to gain control of Guanzhi.
Qoros Auto announced the introduction of new investors early this year. Qoros Auto negotiated with a number of prospective investors (including Baoneng) with Chinese shareholders Chery Automobile and foreign shareholder Quantum. Through multiple rounds of screening and comparison, Baoneng Group won the bid.
Quantum and Chery each hold 50% of the shares in Guanzhi, and the two companies will sell some of the shares held by Guanneng to each of them, and promised to reinvest the proceeds from the sale of the shares.
