Stainless steel pressure gauge use
Stainless steel pressure gauges are widely used in petroleum, chemical, chemical fiber, metallurgy, power station, food and other industrial sectors to measure the pressure of various fluid media in the process flow that requires high corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance.
The stainless steel pressure gauge is composed of a pressure-guiding system (including joints, spring tubes, current-limiting screws, etc.), a gear transmission mechanism, a display device (pointer and dial), and a housing (including case, cover, watch glass, etc.).
For instruments that are filled with liquid (usually silicone oil or glycerin) in the housing, they are resistant to fluctuations in the vibration of the working environment and to reduce the pulsation effects of the medium pressure.
Stainless Steel Pressure Gauge Common Failure Analysis
One is that the pointer does not move or moves very little. The reasons may be the following: 1. The check valve is not open. 2. The pointer is loose. The end of the pointer touches the dial. 3. The center hole of the checker fitting seal washer is blocked and the working medium cannot be fed into the gauge. 4. The media in the checker cup is dirty, blocking the spring tube or transmission channel. 5. The rubber cup on the top of the checker screw is damaged or the spring tube breaks and causes a lot of oil leakage.
The second is the pointer back down. Checker leakage or oil cup needle valve is not smooth, resulting in poor sealing, or it may be spring tube cracks. These failures are common and easy to solve.
The third is the phenomenon of jump stitches. Gear teeth may have rust, wear, and dirt. Or the pointer shaft is tilted, and the bending is rubbed against the dial on one side.
The fourth is that the pointer does not return to zero, the return error and the tapping displacement are out of tolerance. The gossamer is not sufficiently tight or open, or the pointer is loose.
Installation Precautions:
1, the choice of pressure measurement point, the selected pressure measurement point can reflect the measured pressure.
(1) To select the part of the pipe section where the measured medium flows in a straight line, do not choose to bend, diverge, dead ends or other places where the vortexes tend to form.
(2) When measuring the pressure of the flowing medium, the pressure point should be perpendicular to the flow direction and the drilling burr should be removed.
(3) When measuring the liquid pressure, the pressure point should be in the lower part of the pipeline so that no gas accumulates in the pressure guiding pipe. When measuring gas, the pressure point should be above the pipeline so that no liquid accumulates in the pressure guiding pipe.
