When the Changxing Fire Brigade arrived at the scene, five houses that had been tilted after the collision collapsed, and all kinds of large prefabricated slabs were piled up and stacked in a crisscross pattern.

The firefighters were immediately divided into two combat teams, one responsible for the demolition of the front of the vehicle and the rescue of two trapped people in the vehicle. The other group was equipped with a life detector to detect the rubble and see if anyone was trapped.

Some villagers at the scene also continued to organize themselves to help clean up the rubble and see if anyone was trapped.

Due to the large number of large pieces of debris on site, in order to speed up the rescue progress, the 110 Command Center dispatched cranes, forklifts and excavators to the scene to assist the rescue.

At around 8:40, the firefighters successfully rescued the two crew members in the truck from the rubble by breaking the truck.

After all the people on the lorry were rescued, the firefighters immediately helped clean up the debris and repeatedly used life detectors to detect.

Around 9 o'clock, all the cranes, forklifts, and excavators arrived at the scene and immediately carried out clean-up work under the guidance of rescue workers.

At 10:30 in the morning, the entire site was completely cleaned and no one was found trapped.

The relevant leader of Coal Town introduced that during the search and rescue process, the life detector had a signal once and the rescuers immediately dig this ground.

Around 11:30, the rescue personnel finally found the object that sent the signal. It turned out to be a cat, but it was dead.

The cause of the accident may be truck brake failure

The reporter learned from the Changxing County Public Security Bureau that the accident vehicle license plate number was Yu PG6822. The driver who was driving at that time was Liyang Miaomou in Jiangsu Province. The vehicle carried about 10 tons of storage batteries and was driven by Jiangsu along the Dajingxian. When passing through the Shang Ru Village section of the coal mountain, he lost control in the downhill bend and crashed into the roadside houses.

Fortunately, the roadside houses are mostly front-house back rooms, and they are basically inaccessible at night.

The cause of the accident may be the failure of a large truck brake. Specific reasons are still under investigation.
