Toyota will exhibit new mapping system

Recently, Toyota announced that it will exhibit a new generation of automatic mapping systems at the Consumer Electronics Show, which will be opened in January 2016.

Toyota also acknowledged that the probability of a new system error is relatively high, but after multiple vehicle comprehensive data, the entire map has an error margin of up to 5 cm (2 inches).

Toyota plans to put the system on vehicles in 2020. Initially, Toyota would map the expressway, and gradually add ordinary streets and roads.
