In order to successfully achieve the sales target, SAIC Datong adopted the dual-brand parallel model in the promotion of its overseas markets. It vigorously tapped the brand accumulation of LDV in the overseas market and used it for my own purposes. It is reported that SAIC Datong will use the LDV name in the Commonwealth countries and Europe, and use the MAXUS name in other countries and regions.
Following the return of the SAIC MG brand to the United Kingdom, SAIC Datong was also actively preparing for the return to the United Kingdom. However, Lan Qingsong admitted that due to stricter emission standards in the United Kingdom and Europe, SAIC Chase has not been able to return to the local market within a short time.
It is understood that Shanghai Diesel Engine Co., Ltd., a supplier of MAXUS Chase, is currently working hard to develop a standard engine. In the near future, MAXUS Chase will be equipped with engines that meet Euro 5 standards and return to the European market.
