It is understood that on December 6, 2004, at the signing ceremony attended by the Chinese and German premiers, TBEA Shenzheng and Siemens and China Southern Power Grid Corporation signed 34 sets of ±500 kV DC products at Guiguang Second Converter Station. The contract was first dominated by the Chinese side in the major power transmission and transformation projects jointly undertaken by China and foreign countries.

In order to ensure the high-quality completion of the production tasks of this national key engineering product, Shen Ding specially set up the DC department, carefully organized the product design and manufacture, and completed the external verification work of the independent design drawings in a short time to make the product smooth. Put into production. Starting from July 14, the first product test work of Guiguang Second Development was carried out under the strict supervision of the National Transformer Quality Testing Center, the two users of Guiguang and the Siemens experts. Test results such as DC withstand voltage, DC polarity reversal, valve side AC external withstand voltage, and induced voltage have been carried out in the past 10 days, and the product indicators have reached a high level.

At present, Shenshen is stepping up the production of 1000 kV products of the State Grid exchange UHV test base, and successfully won the bid for the 750 kV main transformer in the northwest. The company's ±800 kV DC product development work has also achieved significant results, fully equipped with the ability to independently produce converter transformers and smoothing reactors for DC transmission engineering below ±800 kV.
