Progress in Zirconium (Strontium) Ore Dressing Technology

Zirconium deposits have the most industrial value of sand deposits, and 98% zircon is the companion of titanium sand deposits. Titanium-zirconium sands beneficiation roughing and selected into two phases. The sieved product is sorted by the new TGL-0610 tower spiral chute. The spiral coarse concentrate is selected by ferromagnetic weakening of ferromagnetic minerals. After wet selection of ilmenite in non-magnetic products, the non-magnetic products are further selected by shaker to obtain a shaker concentrate containing 54.10% of ZrO2. The ilmenite and shaker concentrate are dried and further selected to obtain 64.47% grade ZrO2, 49.20% of the original zircon concentrate and grade TiO2 of the ore recovery rate of 84.20%, and the recovery rate of the original mine is 57.94%.
