1.1 distillation device
1.1.1 Cleaning When the sample is determined, 80 ml of water is added by manual function, steam distillation is performed for 5 minutes, and the distillation apparatus is cleaned. After washing, the digestive canal was removed, the contents were discarded, and the safety gate and drip tray were wiped to remove the lye remaining during the assay.
1.1.2 Replacement of rubber head In the distillation process, the hot alkali solution has corrosive effect on the rubber head of the distillation device. After a long time use, it will cause the rubber head and the digestive tube to be in contact with each other, resulting in leakage of free amine and affecting the measurement result. . The rubber head was inspected on a regular basis (usually about a cycle) and found to be seriously corroded and replaced immediately.
The replacement method is as follows: Turn off the power switch of the instrument, open the front cover of the instrument, remove the safety door, clamp one end of the rubber head with forceps, and pull it down firmly. When installing a new rubber head, soak it in hot water for 5 minutes. The hot water makes the rubber head soft and easy to install.
1.2 Titration device
1.2.1 After the cleaning test is completed, clean the titration cylinder and the liquid level probe to prevent the residual of the receiving liquid from adhering to the inner surface of the titration cylinder and affect the next measurement.
1.2.2 Replacement of standard acid-acid solution When using standard acid solutions of different concentrations, the residual acid in the instrument titrator should be removed.
Elimination of the acid method; first open the instrument front cover, the instrument alarm, suggesting that the instrument front cover is opened, find a small magnet on the front of the instrument contacts, press the Enter key on the panel, this time the instrument default front cover is closed. The function of the instrument is selected to fill the liquid in the titrator. The titrator piston is moved upward to stop. Then the empties are emptied and the pulsator piston moves downwards. Repeatedly 3 to 5 times, the old acid will be replaced by a new acid.
1.3 Waste Equipment
1.3.1 Cleaning Periodically (usually about the cycle) to clean the waste equipment, do not clean for a long time, it will block the pipeline. Measure 25 ml of acetic acid solution and 5 ml of water. Using manual distillation for half an hour, the volatile acetic acid will remove the residual lye on the inner wall of the drainage device.
1.3.2 Maintenance When the discharge device is clogged, it is generally blocked by carbonized particles in the solenoid valve below the waste tank. Turn off the power switch of the instrument, open the back cover of the instrument, remove the solenoid valve, remove the internal waste after installation, and install it.
1.4 Precautions The recovery of the instrument must be determined after each standard titration acid or receiving solution has been replaced and after the instrument has been repaired. Ammonium sulfate is generally used for recovery analysis to ensure that the recovery rate is within the range of 99.5% to 100.5%, indicating that the instrument is normal and the sample can be determined.
