Based on the original propylene production capacity of 600,000 tons this year, Jilin Petrochemical started the construction of a refinery project to increase production of propylene, which can increase production capacity by more than 200,000 tons, and can fully meet the demand for the development of the propylene industrial chain in Jilin Chemical Industrial Park. Hydrogen peroxide and hydrogen are important raw materials for propylene oxide production. After 300,000 tons of propylene oxide in the chemical park was completed and put into production, it provided raw material protection for the rapid development of downstream deep processing projects. The joint efforts of Jilin Petrochemical and Jilin Chemical Industrial Park have taken a solid step toward building a new propylene industry chain and boosting the integration of the two major industries of automotive chemicals.
In order to accelerate the construction of the propylene industrial chain project, Jilin Petrochemical and Jilin Chemical Industrial Park have established a high-level meeting mechanism to discuss and deal with major issues related to the construction of the propylene industrial chain project with related companies. At the same time, Jilin Petrochemical transferred its professional and technical personnel to Jilin Chemical Industry Park and set up the Propulsion Office of the Propylene Industrial Chain Project to fully meet the demand for the construction of the propylene industrial chain project and greatly accelerated the construction speed of the project.
