The reporter learned from the Guizhou Province Economic and Information Technology Committee's 2010 Guizhou Equipment Manufacturing Industry Symposium held on the 8th that in 2009, 248 large-scale equipment industrial enterprises in Guizhou Province completed a total industrial output value of 32.194 billion yuan, accounting for the entire province. The proportion of total industrial output value above designated size was 10.64%; the industrial added value was 9.222 billion yuan, accounting for 7.88% of the province's industrial added value above designated size, an increase of 14.1% year-on-year; total profits and taxes amounted to 2.415 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.2%.

According to reports, the development of the equipment manufacturing industry in Guizhou Province currently has the following new trends:

First, the industrial structure has improved significantly. In 2009, there were 52 equipment manufacturing enterprises with a sales revenue of over 100 million yuan, including 5 enterprises with a value of more than 1 billion yuan. The sales revenue was 19.004 billion yuan, accounting for 59.96% of the province's total.

The second is the obvious trend of clustering development. Guizhou's equipment industry has initially formed a concentrated area of ​​equipment manufacturing industry in Guiyang, Zunyi, and Anshun with a certain industrial scale and leading role. Among them, Guiyang's equipment manufacturing industry completed a total industrial output value of 22.63 billion yuan in 2009, accounting for about 70.3% of the province. Guizhou Aerospace High-tech Industrial Park and Anshun Civil Aviation Industrial Base have certain development bases in the fields of special equipment manufacturing, aviation industry, automobile and auto parts.
