Gem Machinery Drilling Pump Receives China Patent Award

Recently, Baoji Petroleum Machinery Co., Ltd. invented the "patent pump cylinder liner inside and outside surface cooling device" patented safety valve, was awarded the fourteenth China Patent Excellence Award by the State Intellectual Property Office. This is the first time that the company has won the national patent award and is also the highest honor in the country for patent applications. The "China Patent Award" is the only government department award in China that specifically rewards the invention and creation of granted patents. It is recognized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WPOO) of the United Nations. The award evaluation standard not only emphasizes the project's patented technology level and innovation height, but also pays attention to its application in the market transformation process, and also puts forward requirements for its protection status and management situation.

It is understood that the patented scientific research personnel has developed a series of cooling devices for the inner and outer surfaces of the mud pump liners through careful design and trial and error, aiming at the disadvantages of high working temperature and short service life of consumables such as mud pump cylinder liners and pistons. Effectively reduce the working temperature of the mud pump, so that the service life of the cylinder liner, piston or cylinder liner, and plunger can be more than doubled, which saves production cost and improves work efficiency.
