The project will use methanol gas-phase catalytic dehydration method to make dimethyl ether, with a unique vaporization decanter structure and a simple process design of the separation process, which can save 30% of investment, and can greatly reduce energy consumption, so that the steam consumption per ton of product than The domestic and foreign devices of the same type are 0.5 tons lower; with self-developed catalysts, the selectivity of methanol to dimethyl ether will reach 99.5% or more, and it can basically reach no exhaust emissions, and the methanol consumed per ton of product will be reduced.

More than 10 years ago, the Southwestern Institute took the lead in the establishment of several sets of gas-phase methanol-dehydrated kiloton-grade aerosol-grade and 10,000-ton-grade fuel-grade dimethyl ether industrial plants in companies such as Guangdong Zhongshan Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd., currently using Southwestern Institute and Tianke Group. The invention patent technology of ether has established more than 40 sets of dimethyl ether devices at home and abroad, and all technical and economic indicators meet or exceed design requirements. The dimethyl ether content is 99% to 99.9%, and the product yield is as high as 98%.
